Born in South Lake Tahoe, California, Michael moved to the Carson Valley 25 years ago, where he met his wife and raised their two children. With over 20 years in the HVAC industry, Michael started as an installation helper, progressing through service and management roles before co-owning Red Bear Mechanical. When he’s not working, Michael enjoys playing golf and supporting his children in sports. His goal? To one day have grandchildren and spoil them a little.

​Jessica grew up on a 150-year-old family farm in Austin, Minnesota, before relocating to the Carson Valley area. She holds a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science and Policy from Sierra Nevada College and co-founded Red Bear Mechanical, where she handles everything from HR to accounting. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys golfing, watching her children’s sports, and spending time with family. Her goal? To break 90 on the golf course this year.

A proud Native Alaskan, Steven knows the value of resilience and problem-solving. His favorite moment? Seeing a client’s system spring back to life after a repair. When he’s not working, he’s dreaming of stock market success or restoring his 1941 Desoto in time for Hot August Nights.

Extremely passionate and driven, Rich thrives on designing the best solutions for customers. When he’s not working, he’s making memories with his family, riding motorcycles, or hitting the golf course. A Fairfield, CA native, he’s on a mission to become NATE-certified—and to one day take a dream trip to Jamaica.

With deep roots in history—Kit Carson is his 5th great uncle—Chris brings that same pioneering spirit to Red Bear Mechanical. Born in Auburn, CA, he enjoys working on cars, riding dirt bikes and quads, and thrives in the team atmosphere. His goals? Investing wisely and owning a home.

​With a sharp mind for finance and geopolitics, Matthew takes a strategic approach to every challenge. He enjoys side projects, family time, and collaborating with the Red Bear team to get the job done right. His ambitions include buying his own place and returning to school for advanced mathematics.

​Fifteen years of Little League baseball instilled Ryan with dedication and perseverance—traits he now brings to Red Bear. Whether he’s skiing, cruising on his longboard, or spending quality time with his kids, he’s all about making the most of every moment. This season’s goal? Hit the slopes at least three times!

A Silver Springs, NV native with a passion for exploration, Mathew spends his free time hiking, rock hounding, and playing music. He’s fascinated by ever-evolving HVAC technologies and their efficiency gains. With a great-great uncle named Charles Furnace, it’s no surprise he’s drawn to the field! His ultimate goal? Earning a BA in Hydrology and Hydrothermal Dynamics—and maybe even learning to fly.

​Originally from Apatzingán, Michoacán, Mexico, Claudia brings over 25 years of customer service experience to her role at Red Bear Mechanical. As the Customer Service Representative, she excels in accounting and managing client relations with precision. Outside of work, Claudia enjoys spontaneous adventures with her daughter, especially shopping trips. Her goal? To continue supporting her daughter’s endeavors while creating lasting memories.

Rocky, known as our "warehouse champ," ensures all materials are organized and ready to go for the technicians. He takes pride in streamlining processes & supporting the team. Outside of work, Rocky’s passions include astronomy, photography, hiking, & continuous learning—he’s currently studying Spanish. If he could develop a new skill, it would be marine biology, thanks to his love of the ocean. His life motto? "Life is short. Set realistic goals. Be grateful for your family, friends, & colleagues. Above all, cherish your health."

A Carson City native, Tyra thrives in Red Bear’s friendly & supportive team environment. She's dedicated to providing top-notch customer service while pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse. When she’s not helping customers, you can find Tyra relaxing at Lake Tahoe or enjoying time at the beach with family & friends. If she could master one new skill, it would be typing faster—perfect for both customer service and her future nursing career. Tyra’s life lesson? "Always be patient & kind to others." That mindset makes her exceptional at what she does!
